Bristol Classic Bike Show

The organisers have just confirmed that we can have a 4mx4m stand on the ground floor in the marquee for next years show, February 20-21st 2010. So we can have some bikes on show this time. Help required for setting up, manning and taking down as this year. Thanks

Thumbs up Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

Well done Iain - it is probably the biggest and best Bike show in the South West - Great oppertunity to promote the Club. Much better that we can put some bikes on display this year - happy to help out again, can be there at 5pm ish on Friday to help set up, and help on the stand Sunday (stay on to pack up).

Andy

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

Thanks Andy. We just need some people who are prepared to show their bikes. I guess peeps will want to trailer them up as February is often bad weather. Any offers?

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

I need to check the dates, but I should be able to bring the 45 along Iain.
As you say, it would have to be on the trailer (don't know if it will be finished and running by then!), but I have friends not too far away from the B&W showground so may be able to stay with them Sat night and do both days.

PM sent.

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

Just had the organisers on, they should have sent me a form in december to tell them which bikes we are showing but they forgot. They have now sent the form by email and want it back asap. I think we may get 6 bikes on show so if anyone is willing and able to get their bike up to the show please let me know, this week if poss. It needs to go in their brochure. I guess we can change things at the last minute if necessary. I need details like model, year and cc.
Thanks

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

Just been talking to JJ and punters apparently get funny if bikes that are put in the catalogue are not there to see. They have to stay from before the show starts till the end of the show (so they cannot be removed whilst joe public is in the show). Will talk to the organisers. In the meantime still let me know if you are interested.
Thanks John, yes definitly would like your MT, what year is it?

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

I can put one of our custom bikes on the stand if you want; I know it's not a "classic" in the true sense but let me know.

We are pretty close to the showground and have no problems leaving a bike there all weekend.

Re: Bristol Classic Bike Show

I have SORN'd my bike this winter (for the 1st time) so cant ride up. But if it would help, and someone is taking a van and there's room, you can have it all weekend. Not a classic but its 10 years old.
