Charity Gig Night in Paignton 21st Nov

there's a charity theme night at the Parkers Arms in Paignton on Saturday 21st November. It's for Cancer Research. There will be quite a few acts on during the evening and I believe there are two bands booked as well . . one of which will be Neil's and my band. We'll be playing for about an hour. There will also be solo singers too etc etc.

Tickets are £4.50 for the whole evening and it's supposed to be themed . . Vicars and Tarts . . so fancy dress is essential !

I think you can pay on the door on the night, but I'll let you know when I have more details.

All for a good cause, so hopefully we'll see a few of you there for a good night

More details will be added as soon as the organisers let me know.

What is the name of your band?

I've got a mate who now plays in a band called Strawberry Fish. He has been around for ages playing in different bands. Remember Aunty Mary's Dead Goat? They used to play at the Coverdale quite often before it turned into the Lime Tree.

Anyway, I hope the gig goes well and is well supported.

Old School Rock - so Afro Hair and Platform shoes will be the order of the day !

Advance tickets (either from the pub or from me) are £4.00 each or pay on the door £4.50

It looks like there could be 4 bands playing plus a couple of solo artists . . so should be a lot of fun. There's a prize for the best fancy dress too, based on Old Skool Rock :-)
Fancy Dress is optional. Children's tickets (under 16) are £1.50
