Re: Hi all new to this just a couple of questions !

Welcome Russ I think most of us started with a sportster, myself I had a 2003 1200 sports custom bought new from Riders at bridgewater for my 40th, they always have a large selection of nearly new bikes. you are in a great area to ride and your loal club are extremely friendly even the odd looking ones (jj).
I live in Cornwall and ride up to meet them.
This is a very good club to be with a vast amount of experience and knowledge. Enjoy your test rides and hope to see you on yours very soon.

WILLS

Hi Blue , my missus is not too fussed too be honest about riding pillion, but my 6 yr old son is !! So i don't think the weight is too much of a problem! I think a sportster is my best bet buget wise at the mo but who knows in the future !

Cheers Russ

Re: Hi all new to this just a couple of questions !

Hi Russ, Hope to see you soon I live in Newton Abbot I am the only sensible one in the club (in my opinion). I am the only one who sits back and watches whilst eveyone else takes the mickey out of everyone, it's great fun! I'm sure you will have fun if you like to have a laugh. (I don't know why I am so quiet)

Bye for now

JJ

ps Denise's bum is not that big. Brian has very large saddlebags on his bike. Denise takes them with her when she gets off. (guess I'm in for a beating too) Perhaps she'll go easy if I'm wearing my high heels as I can't run very fast yet. (Perhaps I want to get caught)

Re: Hi all new to this just a couple of questions !

To give you an idea...a small car/bike sales place down the road from me near Bristol Airport have/had a nice cream/black 1200 Sportster R for sale...one owner 05 plate iirc with a very low milage...£4,500 but the boss told me that he would take about £3,750 to sell it quickly now that winter is here. It is/was a repossession but in very nice condition.
