We both have harleys and want to meet up with others in the staffs area. Does anyone know of any regular meets?

Thanks for asking. We live in Burntwood - between Lichfield and Brownhills. Happy to ride out wherever. Afterall, its the riding that is fun!

I'm based neer Leek, North Staffs. Don't get to ride much, commute into Brum during the week, sort out the family at weekends (two sons, 20 - at Uni nearby - and 18 - doesn't want to be a "tax dodger", you'd be amazed at how much time two adult lads take up, not forgetting the missus!).

Bought an Electra Glide recently, getting to the stage where I'm enjoying riding it now (a long time since I last rode a bike - and that bike was less than half the weight of the EG). Same story as lots of other guys - wanted one forever, never had the opportunity (or money!) until recently.

I'll be keeping eyes out for other replies to this thread, I too would like to know if there any local-ish meets etc. (you'll have guessed I'm new to this), always provided I can spare the time, that is.

Nice to hear from you. Hubby has a streetbob and me the 883. Like you it is time permitting. He works in B'ham too and me in West Brom, so the winter kinda caps the ride outs a bit. Also have two boys that are shared between me and the ex, so it is kind of alternate weekends that we can ride out. Love the family to bits, but oh they do get in the way of the harley! Let's see what responses we get and then maybe we can get some thing organised to suit us all!
