Is there anywhere on HDRCGB where you post stolen bike details? If there is I'd be very grateful if you would post this. Someone might notice something on ebay

FJ03 KZD
rich red, pretty much standard apart from SE turnout mufflers

was advertised for sale - prospective buyer got his address and said they'd come around to see it on Thursday! too much of a coincidence?

You can post my email for any info

cheers

John daleman@btinternet.com

NO ONE should ever give their address out it's an old scam. Always meet at neutral ground get their reg numbers of whatever transport they are in and see ID then let them see the V5 it happens all the time. The shits.

Re: 2004 FXSTS stolen from Potter Handworth near Lincoln

I got caught out the same way in 2002, i advertised my 97' fatboy in bike trader, one guy rang a dozen times befriending me, told me he had a relative in brid and asked for my address so he could ask them if they knew where i was, the so called prospective buyer asked me a million questions regarding the bike even asking if there was a backrest as his wife had a bad back, he said he'd bring the family with him, leave the kids at his relatives and come round to view the bike at 1pm, at 11am i had a phone call from a neighbour saying 2 men had just blasted through my gates on my bike. It was gone, i kicked myself for giving out my adress but the guy really did seem honest, i know better now and im more aware of people. the police told me not to be too hard on myself as this is a proffessional criminal organisation, 5 more harleys were stolen in the area that were also advertised in the same trader as mine. ba*tard theiving tw*t. i still aint over it .
