STOLEN FROM BALBY, DONCASTER

Quote:
Hi Baza,
Can you please put some info on our site for me, I went into my garage this morning to find that my new bike has been stolen, It's a Red FLSTCI Heritage Softail Custom Reg YK04GDP it's got loads of extra's on it and I only bought it just before Christmas (I'd not even ridden it) It must have been stolen between Saturday 17th Jan sometime after 3pm and Monday 19th Jan 6am, They only took the bike even though I had original seat, Pipes and other spares in the garage, If you need anymore information please contact me via email or you can ring me Minnie on **************, I have attached some photo's so that you can choose which to put on, Thanks for any help and hope we can find the scumbags that have taken it,
Bye for now,
Minnie.
Just spoken to Minnie (Club member) biker-minx on here, and she said she was out of the house from Sat eve till Sun eve. The car was up near the garage door and the estate she lives on is gated with a security code!
The scumbags broke in through the roof and who knows how they got it away!
Sometimes you have to look at who sold it to you as it has been known to have happened that the dodgy seller comes back for it to resale a month or so later.
But not in this case he was ab ex copper and now works for the prison service.

Scumbags is too good for them.
They are bastards; thieving bastards...
Hope it gets found again, and in one piece....

You do wonder how they manage to locate something like that, when it's never been on the road, and why they would decide to steal one from a secured scheme.

Who knew it was there?

Sorry to hear of another bike going.

Sounds like the same twats who got my Fatboy in '06, coming in through the roof. I would urge everyone, no matter how safe & secure you think your bike is, if you haven't already got one,get a ground anchor(One which can be chemically bonded to the ground is best, rather than one that is bolted to the ground), the thickest (Almax) chain you can buy and a good, big Squire type padlock. Chain through the ground anchor, and the FRAME OF THE BIKE(NOT the wheel, or crash bars, these can be removed)
Something as below would be a minimum:

A wireless alarm system, with internal PIR sensors would also be a requirement. Do what you can to make it as difficult as you can. If the theiving barstards DO get into your garage/lockup, at least if your bike is anchored to the ground with a good thick chain & strong padlock (NOT the sort of stuff they sell down at B&Q!), they can't carry it away.

I hope these c*nts rot in hell for what they are doing.

Balby is a hot spot for scumbags like these for years and it got worse when the local councill shut the oap home as they had no money to run it then had it re furbished and opened as a half way house for drug users, and guess what the crime rate went up mostly house breakings etc.
I lived in Balby in the late 70,s early 80,s and it was getting bad then
I hope you get your bike back iam at doncaster hog meeting tonight and will ask people to ask around about your bike.

I'll flag it up at the Lincs meeting on Tuesday night and see about getting in the shops round here as well.

Thanks to everyone for the help I really appreciate it, even the comments left on here just show me that people are thinking about me and that I'm a member of a great club of like minded people. Forensics have been round and took prints so lets hope the police get something from them and catch the lowlife's that have taken it, Thanks again for any help on getting my pride and joy back, Minnie.
