Thumbs up New Stainless or Polished Chrome

I will soon be getting a super duper device to improve my riding. The latest technology and functionality Should be supplied & fitted within the next 6 months, which of course may not fit in with my rallying plans, Kent, Norway, Ireland etc If this one is successful then I might get another later and then perhaps go for a full set Dunno what it'll be made of yet, could be stainless, might be chrome, does anyone have any knowledge of which is best Maybe I could get it at a better deal through Colin, I will find out and let you know for future reference Once it is fitted one of the unplanned benefits will be that the air filter cover on the old RK will no longer be damaged by the past friction that has rubbed off the decal. Might even include a new cover in the process. Another additional benefit will be that the new device won't need cleaning or polishing and I believe it will be self lubricating and (initially) be maintenance free ;) And I will be able to go scratchin again

Talk about enigmatic, sir!

What is this device?

If it's stabilisers, please can you get some for me too? (preferably stainless, my character is murky enough)

Come on Bob, you well know the Chrome won't get you home, but stainless is blameless;)

Sounds to me that you really kneed this new item and S/S would be the way to go. If it works you could be shouting Hip, Hip, Hurrah.

Bob, I think you might find it is Titanium , so the old RK will have just a little bit less weight to carry. ;)

Then again carbon fibre may be worth considering if weight is a factor! mind you, will need alot of elbow grease if ya hope to get a shine out of it!

Ere colin, I'm not having my arse end removed --- ooh yes, that would be a lot of weight loss wouldn't it

Re: New Stainless or Polished Chrome

The new bit is to be fitted on the 30th Sept - which means that, yet again, I will miss the Essex Poker Run

At least the wonderful NHS 'long term planning' has allowed me to do most of the rallies and events that I wanted to do .
