Question summer rideout

Our original plan was to get up really early, ride to Ace Cafe, and ride to Hastings ! Well we saw it was raining .. so we got into the car and spent the day at Leeds Castle ! Hope you had a nice day at Hastings ? This has given us a thought for a summer ride, we are going to get up early and take a ride through the city of London ! When we say early, we mean riding through the streets of London about 5.30am ! What a great way to see the sites of London ......anyone interested ?

Re: summer rideout

M&S, I used to go to London every day at 05:30, the memories are still with me cos every day I get up for 05:30 and talk to the guys I used to chat with whilst driving up to town (Another hobby is that I am a radio ham G1PJT) I've been retired for some years now and the trip still haunts me However your idea sounds ok but I don't think that even at 05:30 on a Sunday that London would be 'pleasurable' to ride around, too many 'innits' ;) Good ere innit

Unusual to be busy at weekends ... can be rather nice wandering around the nations capital before the crowds hit the streets

But there aint any eateries open, not even at Smithfields or Southwark markets The pubs won't be open But I spose we could try No 10 for a quick cuppa ;) Tone might come to the door wearing his 'I love Maggie' jim jams

Anyway at the moment I am helping my old mate Noah build a bl**by Ark
