Coaster in Perpignan

Hi all you stuck at home Coasters Just a quick gloat to let you know that Sue and I are sunning, drinking, sleeping, drinking and eating in rue Coasters fashion (a bit like a typical rally cept Sue is with me ) here in the Sarf coast of Frogland .

All the better we have left the kids ( our punishment for enjoying sex ;) ) at home to guard the RK . So beware of the Madmoose armed with a cricket bat

I am on the pc in the Hotel and pressing the wrong buttons cos it isnt a qwerty keyboard

Old Bob & Sue

Re: Coaster in Perpignan

Back home now Found some nice places in the Perpignan area that did nice grub and appreciated Rugby Amazing how a common interest helps break down barriers, like I don't speak French very well and the French won't speak English (not true) but we talked bolleaux for hours over a couple of bottles of Fitou

Ah well, Shepherds Pie for dinner and a good cuppa will make me feel at home again, oh yes and it is raining

Nice part of the world Bob....only trouble I find there is when you are trying to get down to spain for lunch and the Mistral is blowing straight at you, then its bloody hard work on the bike .... then just when you have finished a nice relaxing lunch in Spain and it's time to go back to France and the b@$%€#d has turned round and is now blowing back the other way

I have seen some caravanners with their tops being peeled back because the wind is so strong and bloody dangerous.

Glad you had a nice time though, loads of Pastis & Ricard no doubt, with a few Oysters for the afternoon siesta

Big_john Spain ;)

Re: Coaster in Perpignan

Some of those Oysters actually worked Big J.

Had a daily helping of pastis, quite like it. A few years back I started a 'Petanque' club, at 'The Half Moon' near Crowborough. We actually got a little sponsership from Ricard as well as quite a few bottles for 'tasting'. A warning though, it does tend to stay active for a day or so if you have too much So when you have a cuppa the next day you get pi**ed all over again (been there - done that)
