Thursday 15th June 2006.

Our leader, the man at the front, the Big Cheese himself, Simon makes it to a half century.

Actually Simon, when i was 50, i felt the same as i did at 49, except the old back and knee joints started getting stiff and other parts didn`t. [Anymore, well not so often should i say?]. Still, you ain`t looking bad son!

50 eh, cor. When I was 50 it meant something. Now you youngsters are making it a common occasion. Now you've got to change into a grumpy old sod, none of this running around, being young and reckless.
Mind you, Saga holidays and insurance might make it bearable. Saga also do special deals at Happy Eaters and Little Chefs. Now come on Simon, you know that makes it all worth while.

Thanks for all your best wishes. Not sure if its a surprise, or not, to make it to half a ton, but it sure is nice to share the experience with friends. We're off to Russia for a long weekend to check out their breakfasts, will report back next week Thanks all
