News update ........... sugar has been added to the new fermentation. It is now sitting in the back of the bike shed and is up to no good

Nuvva News Update.

More sugar has been added to the 2 barrels of new batch cider. As soon as it went in there was a lot of hissing and fizzing ..... it sounds like it's up to no good to me

We've been told a few times that cider gets so strong and no stronger as it gets to the point where it can't convert anymore sugar. Fair enough we thought, plenty strong enough innit. Now a bit back Mike and I mixed together the two types of the first brew cider ..... it seems to me that they got on so well together in that barrel that they've decided to break with tradition and make a bit more alcohol, just for the hell of it. Damn but it's good stuff
