| Local Bike shows & autojumble
There might be opportunities for the odd ride and brekkie/brunch/lunch/beer/cream tea etc on the way to and back from the following events: Kempton Park autojumble --------- March 17th at 10:00 Ardingly Classic bikes & jumble ---- March 25th at 10:00 BST Ashford M/C show & jumble ------- April 9th at 10:00 Kempton Park Southern Classical Bike & jumble -- May 12th at 10:00 Rye (Hamstreet) Classic jumble ---- May 13th at 10:00 -----------ditto ------------------ July 7th at 10:00 Kempton Park autojumble --------- Aug 18th at 10:00 Rye (Hamstreet) Classic jumble ---- Sept 9th at 10:00 -----------ditto ------------------ Oct 10th at 10:00 Ardingly Classic bikes & jumble ---- Oct 28th at 10:00 GMT Kempton Park autojumble --------- Nov 11th at 10:00 -----------ditto ------------------ Dec 8th at 10:00 You will see that many of these clashes with other events, particulary 12 & 13th May - the AGM at Naseby Field. But it might be somewhere to go if stuck for a venue, of course that is for those of you that need more than the ride All that will be needed is for someone to say "lets meet at ---- " Old Bob

| Re: Local Bike shows & autojumble Blimey Bob that's a lot of Jumble innit You're right though Bob, what we need is fools, I mean volunteers, to step up to sort out a meeting place, time and destination. I'm a real believer in empowerment (aka doing something without gettin' paid for it) ... step up, step up !!! Phil....

| Re: Local Bike shows & autojumble
Last year Colin & Shirley, Bruno and I went to Brooklands Museum and met up with London & 3CBs. We even joined in with Surrey Hog for a ride to Hampton Court (but that was a little too much posing, Pyro was very much at home but ---- mmm say no more)That was a good day out and could be another venue for those looking for a good ride out. These items can be discussed when we meet up at the Woolpack (this seems to be the meeting with most attendees) and I think that will be on the 14th (the 2nd Wed in the month) for those newbies. | Re: Local Bike shows & autojumble I found Brooklands to be a good day out and not too expensive. Nice distance to ride as well. Bob, I spent a great week in Corsica with some nice Surrey Hoggers ( and their gleaming bikes of course ) K v F
