Whatcha doing for the New Year

Just wonder what you Coasters are doing to see the new year in.

You may be planning to go down the local Pub, Club, Village Hall or other place full of strangers to celebrate the first official day of the year in the Gregorian calendar

or

You can join in with us at the Ole Homestead to ensure we chase away the Gremlins of the old year and give a right royal welcome to the virgin 2009.
A method Statement is presently being produced but it will include utilisation of the infamous Coasters disco, dancing, singing and general practises used by Coasters to have a good time. Bring some Scoff & Quaff to ensure that there is sufficient partying fuel. From 20:00 ish onwards.

First Footing encouraged, (as we don't have a coal fire bring some 50 Ps for the leccy meter ) Leaving not compulsory, as long as you are still enjoying the party.

Re: Whatcha doing for the New Year

That's a special Birthday Wormy. I'm sure he will have a super birthday and I hope he enjoys his bowling.

Both Sue and her older brother have their birthdays on Christmas Eve, dunno how their Mum & Dad worked that out.

Same as usual Phil, the most important thing to bring is a sense of humour --

cos the central heating has broken down

Get ya party boots out, come any time.

I'm off to the shops, gotta get some bits and pieces and some French sticks for the Garlic bread (last time there wasn't enough bread on the Garlic and there was a bit of a melee as folks fought for a chunk)

Sorry Trevor, I couldn't trust you under the stairs cos that's where my cellar is

Boogie shoes are the answer to the central heating problem - not only to keep warm but to work up an appetite (I've been slaving over the stove all afternoon so I am quite warm )
