Aylesford Vintage Bikes weekend

I don't think there is anything planned for the weekend of 1st & 2nd August so if anyone is interested there is an international collection of vintage bikes gathering at Aylesford in Kent: see Homepage with flags-new version posted 12.8.06

I would like to go but may be still running in some new metalwork

Ok the plan is to go to this as the weather looks promising, and OB suggested it. We'll be leaving the Boship at 10.00 if any-one else wants to tag along. Snack stops will be included in this ride out

We hope to make it but have to see Mandys dad in the morning. His brother is visiting and probably won't see him again. Might need a lot of tissues for Mandy.

Re: Aylesford Vintage Bikes weekend

Had a great day Bob. Only Si and me ( plus the women ) went. Absolutely shed loads of classic and vintage bikes in a wonderful setting.
Had lunch outside at the venue tea rooms
Shot off to Brenzett on the way home to pick up some T-shirts and did manage to stop for a pint of ale in an out of the way pub that Si and Jen know ( pub only sells ales - no lager!! )

All in all a day to be repeated

How are you doin Bob?

Karl

And further entrusted with certain addresses that will sustain the constitution of all Coasters .
