I rode out to Haywards Heath to meet them. Met up with Sally & Richard in Haywards Hth to wait for them and then rode back with them towards Heathfield meeting up with other bikes en-route. Folks gradually dropped off leaving the one ped (Henry I think) to get to Robertsbridge. I turned off to make my way to the Woolpack to report the news, leaving Sally, Richard and some others to finish off the last 10 miles together .

So it seems like the young guys have returned but the ride down to Eastbourne may well be on for sunday.
You've got to applaude the madness that takes a Moped round the country and it certainly won't hurt to show support by joining them on sunday. Perhaps we can also arrange a visit to the Triple for them to bath in the glory of being young and daft - as opposed to us lot who are old and daft.

Sally here, I don't know what happened but missed Wormy etc. I was on the bike so couldn't see the texts that had come in. In hindsight I should have stopped and looked. Apologies to one and all, but thank you for your support.
Henry arrived back around 9.30pm much to his mum's delight. He had ridden around 300miles yesterday.
Alex's dad was the one that suggested Sunday and I said I'd try and organise a few bikes. The only problem I see is that the police might object ref. the speed. I think Stephen is trying to get Bikesafe to join us. I'll report back as soon as I hear anything.
Anyone thinking of joining us?
