Shaw Harley davidson, Chiddingly

Hi all again, i posted in the newbie forum earlier to introduce myself, so hello again!

As i said earlier i've ordered an Iron 883 from Shaw Harley Davidson in Chiddingly, East Sussex. Has anyone had any experience with them? How is there after sales services, etc etc?

Cheers..

Hi and welcome to the site. I've bought 2 used bikes from them and I guess they're no better than any other dealer all the time you're spending money with them! I found their HOG group very stuck up hence me beeing a Coaster! I'm sure once the others get back from the National rally you'll get loads more response. I hope to see you around very soon.

Welcome to the forum.

I bought my Softail from Shaws this year after doing the rounds of dealers in the South.
They're the best in my opinion.

As far as after sales service goes, they were great.
My rear Kuryakin LED light packed up, one phone call and a new one was sent by next day courier to my door.

Thank you for all your replies, and thanks for the warm welcome!

Thats good to hear about Shaw because you do here some people have bad experiences with some dealers, but it looks like there one of the good ones. Thanks all again and i'll be seeing you all hopefully at the next couple of meets, Jamie

Like all dealers Jamie they like that shiny stuff you have in your pocket.

I hope you get the bike in time for the Brighton Burn Up on the 13th -- we will be there, join us cos there will be lots of guys & gals from many other regions there with us - make sure to keep on pestering Shaws to get the bike asap

I will bob thankyou, the sooner i get it the better believe me! I'll definately be there for the brighton burn up; bike dependent obviously. I need to get a double seat and another set of foot pegs fitted too for the wife. Any idea of how much i'll be looking at for that anyone?

Look for the Coasters hostility tent on Madeira Drive in Brighton. There will be lots of people in there to talk to and make you welcome. (Also tea and coffee at bargain prices).
