Change of Meet venue.

Following on from our AGM it has been decided to move our 2nd wednesday of the month meet from it's current venue - The Woolpack Inn, Herstmonceux - to The Berwick Inn, Berwick, Station Road, East Sussex, BN26 6SZ. to: Berwick, Polegate, BN26 6SZ - Google Maps

Please Note that the Berwick Inn is right next to Berwick Station, on the south side of the tracks.

The first meeting at the new venue will be on wednesday 11th November

This Wednesday - 11th November .......

Hope as many as possible can make it along to this new venue

Please bring along any ideas you have for things to add to the Coasters "to do" list.

Re: Change of Meet venue.

Sorry! though I had already posted this Was a good night, good turnout and a much better Pub . Just one suggestion perhaps we could have, should have used the small bar area, at the top of the stairs or the lower lounge, as I did feel we were making the straights who were having a meal a little uncomfortable, not that we did anything wrong but simply by our numbers and attire? We would not want to scare any of his other punters away, would we ?

Ps Sorry Karl about the spillage I thought Si would have been on here already as it was him who pushed past?

We planned to use the lower area Charlie but I believe they'd had a leak, which resulted in no proper lights, so we moved to the main bar area. I think we'll naturally tend to use the lower area as it looks out on the parking, smoking and garden areas.

Re: Change of Meet venue.

As Phil says - lights had fused in the lower bit. We were offered the upper bit but everybody was comfortable in the bar area by then.

As for the spillage Charlie - I'm sure badges smelling of beer will be a selling point

I thought the pub was better and, as we had more space, people mingled more. Mistake putting the grub on the bar next to Wormy and P tho . Like you said Chas. good turnout but only one bike (Gerry obviously likes rain )

Hi Karl
Once inside I think we all talked the same old bollocks.
Ah! beer flavored patches on Velcro so they can be removed and be defused in water in an emergency Now we could have something there

Its Ok Si, It was only a bump as you went to the bar, but as a result I managed to tip my beer into Karl's briefcase, steeping all the cloth badges in beer. Felt so guilty I had to buy another one and 2 TWO sweat shirts

Aye Charlie
