Camping Weekend: 28 - 30th July

The NorthWest region are holding an informal camping weekend Friday 28th - Sun 30th July in the camping field at the Engine & Tender Inn at Broome near Craven Arms, Shropshire (the same venue as the Vintage Rally).
This is a good opportunity to invite non-Harley riding buddies along to see how the Rider's Club throw a party. Having said that, the entertainment is all our own, so anyone who can provide a good rendition of 'Sweet Home Alabama' on the spoons will be especially welcome .
The landlord is asking not more than £4.00 per night per person, and his pub does good food, with other options further down the road.

Would have loved to be there but can't. Wales is one of my favourite places but I'm going to be in Greece topping up the tan ready for Oswestry and it's a bit far to go just for the weekend!

Don't know about Oswestry really as I've not been before, and I have to take the wife to Greece anyway! When you think about it though, isn't life what you make it? A chance to ride my bike to a place where other like minded people are going sounds like a good thing to me so as long as the weather is ok (I hate cleaning my bike, well the polishing bit anyway) it'll be worth it to me. No abusive teenagers running around refusing to listen to good advice, nobody else giving me any hassle, some ale (doesn't have to be good either), a place to crash that isn't too far to wobble to and I'm happy
