| Re: Hoggin the bridge? Hi there guysBig carb icing on the mountain (Rhyd y Fro) this morning, but it was a brilliantly cold clear fresh ride, so a splutter or three is quite OK. Any thoughts on additives for the cold weather? 1450 Dyna on standard carb is a real bugger for this, unlike my old 1200 stage 1 Sportster that never missed a beat in the cold. Sheep were mad and generally suicidal, however, and added to the general air of pre-work unreality. Just about to send off the Hoggin form (thanks for the link) and hope to see a few of us local guys there. Ill be starting from Penarth I expect, so could meet up on the way to Chepstow for a coffee or an Irn-Bru - or you guys could call in Penarth for a freebie, and wake the missus up with some serious noise from the MOT compliant pipes we all use. This weekend will be restricted to a cuppa in Llandovery on Sunday with not much in the way of fun riding, as the brake pads have no paddy bits left after my Scottish jaunt, and Ive yet to get them fixed. Next week for the front, rear and MOT.All the bestEd |

| Re: Hoggin the bridge? Good morning (Sunday) guys A bit wet this morning (Derek Brockway was right), but Im stiil hoping for a ride and slither this morning. The wet leaves should be fun to play on, and the farmers seem to have added lots of mud around here (Ammanford area) to help things along. Ive got my Hoggin ticket, and shall look forward to meeting any of us from the Llanelli etc. area. Silver 2001 Dynaglide and a guy with a red / grey beard may well be me. Leaving from Penarth after a night with the Proclaimers in Cardiff. Hoots mon. ED |

| Re: Hoggin the bridge? Kev Bevan's just asked me what time we should meet/get there. Never been before so I've no idea meself. Any suggestions? Or do we arrange to meet up somewhere like Magor Services and ride in together? T'other half'll be on her Sporty and it's only got a pissy little tank so 50-mile range between fill-ups. Not sure which way we'll go to Magor, probably depend on the weather.
