Hogging the Bridge 2007

Well Lads,

What a F****ing Great Day, weather was perfect and the word on the street is 3,500 bikers.

I left the House at 8.30 am arrived at Swansea west services to meet the rest of our crowd at 9.00 am.


We arrived at Magor Services at 10.25am to a sea of Harley and all types of motorcycles, we all then made our way over to the old severn crossing.

What a fantastic ride it was over the old bridge, there was on-lookers everywhere on every fly over approaching the bridge and all along the bridge itself, they made us all feel like royalty with their clapping waving and best of all the old boob flash.

Then as you can imagine thousands upon thousands of bikers head towards Chepstow.

It is the longest 6 or so miles I have ever done on my Harley, all I could see ahead was overheating Harleys and as you can imagine all I could do was prey that my Road King wasn’t the next to smoke.

Well we finally arrived at Chepstow and all was well again,

Great Food ,Great Friends, Great Music and Great Harleys, what more could one ask in a Ride Out.

Trust me the UK Harley seen is live and kicking and very much expanding.

It was great to meet Kevin Scrivener and his Mrs.

I must admit although that 6 mile ride into Chepstow was a killer, I still very much look forward to Hogging the Bridge in 2008.

I heard that they may be organizing a 2 day event next year. Well you can count me in!
