My old harley project

I have just purchased a Harley Davidson 1989 XL in need of some tlc but runs beautiful i have plenty of ideas spinning round in my head but am not capable of putting these in to practise as i am not mechanically minded but hopefully through this forum i will get advice and guidance, i need to get to know people around my area who can point me in the right direction also people from afar i am really looking forward to making new friends and meeting people we all have to start somewhere.
I am a family man and have a lovely wife who are all interested in bikes my son is keen off roader but at the moment we are sourcing him a bigger bike as he out grew his previous one so anyone who would like to get to know me more or could possibly help drop me a line many thanks.
