Region meeting - NEW VENUE

On arrival at our usual Region meeting place today we discovered that the pub was locked up and the landlord gone, done a runner. After some discussion we retired to the next likely pub 4 miles away. This happens to be the Chain Bridge probably known to some of you as an old location for several Harley Club Wales rallies.
We were warmley welcomed and were provided with a room for the meeting straight away. So guess where our new venue is for the forseeable future??
The pub is on the B4598 between Abergavenny and Usk about 5 miles North of Usk town, set on the river bank next to the river bridge.
See you there next month.

The new venue is better than the previous one, mind you i have only been there twice because iam a young pup! I can now put names to some faces, rode home the long way with other new Mike.

All you can hear is the wind whistling through the wires, miles of nothing between here and there. Remember this is Wales a distant land of high sierras and stark barren landscape except for down the valleys where the cleft stick is King .

The only "high sierra" I've seen down that way was on top of a scrapyard pile in Pontypridd!

What i mean is not many folk round yer use this forum. Most clubs revolve around their forum. Some members live at the edge of the known world, so why not move the monthly meet now and again, slightly west. It could work if members look at this forum. Anyhow i have just wasted a few moments of life because very few will see this!

But Mike we do especially this time of year. I haven't seen you introduce yourself or make any posts in any of the other sections. Lots of good friendships have been made through this site and cemented when meeting up around the country at numerous rallies. So why not spread your wings and use the whole of the clubs website rather than just your region?
