Bike Protection

I just posted this in the sportster section for SaltheWop & thought I'd post it here too in case it helps anyone;

Read about this stuff in Ride magazine last december.
It's called ACF-50 by Worldwide Aviation ! It's an anti-corrosion protection type spray. Apparently it's designed for all areas of your bike including electrcal connections, plastics, engine casings etc...
It contains compounds that penetrate oxide deposits & kills off corrosion. It claims to protect your bike for up to a year from the ravages of salt.
I'm considering using it this winter on my Honda as I use it all year round in all weathers. I normally spray wd40 all over after washing it but it's a bit greasy. Protects the bike bits though.
Anyway for more details on ACF-50 either ring 01202 577280 or visit website www.worldwideaviation.co.uk
It might prolong the looks & health of your new Harley.
Good Luck

Don't know if anyone has used it or has any comments

Cheers, Dave ???

Re: Bike Protection

Couple of questions about this stuff

1) Would you recommend spraying on a new bike, regardless of weather at the time?

2)It says it lasts up to a year.What about when you wash the bike, does it have to be reapplied?
