Keeping those engines black.

I run a 2000 dyna sport which is obviously very black. A good tip to keep the engine looking black and not the grey/brown tinge it can turn after a while is to give the bike a good clean and then give all the black wrinkle finish components a quick spray with WD40. I use it on every thing from heads to casings to horn cover. Spraying it onto a cloth and wiping things like rear mudguard supports, belt guard and brake callipers (making sure you don't touch the discs!!) gives them the same apperance. I have been using this for the last 2 years and have suffered no ill effects. Can of WD40 £1.99 can of stealership engine brightener ££££££.
