| Back to Black During the task of restoring my XLCR to its former glory, I gave this stuff a try. It's what used to be called Zebo, black grate polish, used by your granny (probably!) to polish up the old fashioned cooking ranges etc. It's a black graphite paste, suitable for restoring the black lustre to wrinkle black engine/gearbox casings etc. Covers up minor blemishes. It has brought the black exhausts, wheels, and mirrors & gearbox casings up like new on the XLCR. Wouldn't recommend on black shiny paintwork, but for all the wrinkle black bits , it's absolutely fantastic. Available on line here: Welcome to Starch Supplies : Hotspot Black Grate Polish [SSBGP01] - £4.99 FBB

| Re: Back to Black Hi FBB, I have just used this stuff as well and found it to be excellent. The paint on the casings of my Heratige Springer had been peeling off for ages (ever since the warranty ran out......Hmm.) and this has been a great and inexpensive fix. It really does look as good as new. Thanks for the tip. ![]() Cheers, Roly
