| Oil Here's an article posted on the Zodiac website explaining everything you ever wanted to know about oil, and a few things you didn't. I don't care if you use Lidl peanut oil or Johnsons Baby oil in you Harley and have covered over 25 yards using it without problems. Do what you want, it's your toy. This is information only. http://www.zodiac.nl/downloads/docum...ilsSeminar.pdf

| Re: Oil Does the diagram showing high and low gravity under "What is A.P.I Gravity?" look back to front to anyone? Showing the hydrometer floating low in the one marked "High Gravity". I thought the higher the hydrometer floated the higher the specific gravity. Very interesting though about the cloud and pour points and the difference in viscosity between different types of oil. |

| Re: Oil Quote:
I don't know whether Lidl sell peanut oil and I don't care. You shouldn't use peanut oil; I was being flippant, everyone knows that Johnsons Baby Oil is a better quality product. I've used it for over 30 years and my hands are a soft as a baby's bum. I do have a yard full of blown engines but I don't blame the oil it was the cheap metal used by the MoCo. In every engine you can see signs of failure of major components from oil pumps to pistons to con rods. The Baby Oil taken out of these engines is contaminated with the cheap assed metal but once filtered through an old sock can be used again and again saving a fortune over highly priced recommended oils. Going off topic now so going to stop.
