Talking A special thread: Posting Pictures... Yours or importing. Even a Monkey could do it!

Many a time our Spice has wanted to post pictures so ONCE AGAIN lets try and get him to do it once and for all.

This is the site method. Post #2 will be bringing in imported photos from other websites that have an URL address.
  1. Firstly you can Download YOUR pictures on to the site as long as your photos are not too big.146.5kb in JPEG Format
  2. If they are too big then you should be able to reduce them in your own photo studio that you view them in. If you want to for some reason KEEP the original LARGE photo (maybe for printing) then when you have reduced the selected photo that you want to show us 'Save it' and just add the letters small to the original title. For instance 'me on my bike'1.85mb to 'me on my bike small' 97kb
  3. Photos should be in JPEG format and no larger than 146.5k
  4. BTW if you try putting 'Just a photo' in without text it will not allow it. You can get around this by doing ....................... a few dots under the photo.
Now the clever bit:

Where you write into the message box see here below

Name: posting piccies1.jpg
Views: 587
Size: 48.0 KB

LOOK under the box and you will see manage attachments as seen here:

Name: manage att.jpg
Views: 586
Size: 49.8 KB

Click on that and follow the instructions when loaded click on the paper clip button above the message box next to the smiley face and hey presto.

If you are told your photo is too large then you need to resize it.
To enable that get this free download:

Get Irfanview, it's free and it's really good.

Get it here:

Re: For Spicey a special thread: Posting Pictures... Yours or importing.

If you see a photo that you want to copy and post into your message follow these instructions:
  1. Right click onto the photo then click onto >> Properties
  2. Highlight the address by left clicking on the mouse and sliding over the address. MAKE SURE you stop after either GIF or JPEG any letters after these file types will stop the picture showing that's when you get the little box with the red X in it. (URL) Name: Untitled.jpg
Views: 946
Size: 4.5 KB When highlighted like this right click your mouse and click 'Copy'
  3. At the top of the message box there is a little yellow square with a mountain in it. left click that and paste in the address you have saved and click 'OK' and your imported picture will be displayed.
This also applies to YOUR own photos that you can store FREE of CHARGE into websites like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
When they are uploaded into these sites you just bring them to life by going through the same process as above and the address will include the host site and your title like this:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...s/PICT0003.jpg

If you want to show a 'SLIDE SHOW' from photobucket again copy the address into your mouse/pc when your slide show has started and paste it into a new message box by hitting on the Insert Link tab.
