New years Day

I will be going to Brooklands Club day on new years day if it's not icy to surprise some of my old Mercedes-Benz club friends.
Maybe this would be a good place for a few meets in 09?
It is a very nice venue, they have Vintage Bikes, Cars & Planes to look over & various events throughout the year

We met up there last year, quite a lot of us turned out.. Organised by Tony of the London Region we met with the Coasters as well. There was an Autojumble and the bikes were parked inside by the sheds, I think we paid £7.00 per bike. We looked at being part of thier 100th Anniversary this year but they wanted £30.00 per bike to let us inside so we gave it a miss.

I am a member of the Brooklands trust, it costs £30 or £45 for a couple & you can get in as many times as you like for the whole year apart from a few select events.

Went over there today, a good turn out of cars & a few bikes but not many.
Was absolutely frozen to the bone by the time i got home, it seemed to get colder as the day went on. It was nice to blow the cobwebs away for the new year.
