Tyre and Rider Pro 2 help needed

I bought the Rider Pro earlier this year and downloaded the Tyre software after asking on here for advice, now I need more advice, how the f**k do I get the TomTom to follow the ITN file from Tyre? I've done the route on Tyre, downloaded to the TomTom, loaded the itinery, the TomTom displays the itinery, but when I press [done] or [Start Navigation] it goes to fastest, slowest, etc route screen and totally ignores the itinery. I know it's going to be something stupid somewhere but I'm buggered if I can find it.

Once you have the itn file in the itinerary folder, go through the menu options to the itinerary menu.

You need to "load" the itinerary. However, unless you are at the start point, it will try and navigate to the first waypoint from your current destination. This might be what you are experiencing.

I used to use TYRE but changed to ITNConverter recently. I find it easier to use.

You can view the itinerary if TomTom does not have a fix on your position ie. you're inside a building and cannot 'see' the satellites. Select 'Done' from the itinerary menu, 'Yes' to navigate to your first destination then a route type (I use Fastest Route usually) it will then tell you there is no GPS reception and 'Do you want to define a starting point.....' Select Yes. You then have several options to choose from, I usually select a point on the map.
BTW if you use 'City Centre' as a way point on the itinerary (instead of an actual point on the map) TomTom will use them as a direction guide only and bypass the centre on the way to the next destination. If you want to go through the centre either change it to a destination or pick a specific point on the map. I've not used tyre so the .itn may be fine.

Thanks guys, finally got it behaving how I wanted it to. It was a a case of selecting 'fastest route' when asked if I wanted it to calculate. It then calculated the route and came back with the route on the itinery that I'd planned. Didn't expect that, but still what the hell, it works.
Cheers

Yes, it was asking you how to plan the route between each waypoint.
