Cracking b+b. Cheap run by bikers. The breakfast is belly bustin. Also when we turned up (went with the missus) we'd just got caught in the worst down pour possible - offered to get our bikes into their garage and let us dry all our gear near the boiler. In addition to that we'd been on the road for a week, asked where the nearest launderette was, she wash a weeks worth of dirty gear!

Just had a great couple of days at this hotel, an thought it was worth entering into the biker friendly sticky.

Hotel in Moffat - Buccleuch Arms Hotel Moffat, Dumfries & Galloway

In a very beautiful and easily accessible part of Scotland. The hotel is run by a couple of, I believe, south Africans, both bikers themselves.

We lived already five years in the quiet village Gasselternijveenschemond, but in the middle of 2005 we have moved to the south side 30 there the new start engine camp-site.

In and around pawn it had been maintained badly and had therefore a heap event. But work after three years hard we let us have already a lot for each other.

There is a sociable canteen with podium, bar, two stoves and a pantry where you can order a simple meal. In the former horse stable 24 berths and is toilets there and douche-gelegenheid is. Of course you can set up yourself tent on the camp field. In the summer stands a tepee in which 6 persons can spend the night with their own camp fire.

Bike only camping, but there are tents to rent and some chalets. They welcome you with free beer, the site has many trees offering shade and people are friendly. There's a pool, ride-outs, activities and a good (if pricey) place to eat. Situated in a beautiful part of France - it is a must.
