I found a useful set of info on the AA website that you may want to check out before touring in Europe. Compulsory Equipment/Documents Driving requirements by Country

Think you'll find that 2 wheeled vehicles are exempt from most of the equipment bit. Actually says so on the page of notes.

I took spare bulbs and a GB sticker. I slapped a beam diverter onto the headlight...but have no idea where it should go, it was there in case I got pulled up on a routine check and nothing more.

Think that and a basic first aid kit are a sensible addition to thr touring kit anyway! Also spare fuses. All your doc's just in case and your good to go. Don't need the sticker if your reg plate has GB on - and I didn't and didn't put the sticker on a couple of years ago and no one stopped me..... Tuesday I set off for Austria - Can't wait.
