| Anybody been to Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia?
I'm thinking of a roadtrip to Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. I'd welcome any information - road conditions, Harley dealerships, costs etc from anybody who's been there. Thanks, |

Try contacting GrahamMec on here. I believe he went to that part of the world for a HOG rally recently.

No I haven't, but my wife and I visited the Czech Republic and Slovakia in June and had a great time. I am pleased to report we didn't need to visit a Harley dealership, but I researched them via the H-D website. There are none in Slovakia and may not be many in the Balkans, but I noted the contact details of those along our route, just in case. You can 'Switch Countries' as I did back in May, when preparing for our trip. As Phil indicated, there was a recent major HOG rally, in Latvia, so they are likely to be friendly! We found Slovakia in particular (and Poland which we popped into) to be very rural and not many of them speak much English, but they were friendly, helpful and we look forward to going back. Hopefully you will find much the same!

I lived in Prague for a couple of years and had a great time. There are many bike dealers in the Czech republic and there is a decent biking community around. Highlight of the year is usually the Brno Grand Prix which is a fantastic event - but beware of the police! They operate a Zero tolerance approach to speeding and regularly target bikers.
