The Stags Head, Felton, Northumberland.
Sorry I can't put a website link to this place as there isn't one yet, as really the whole place is a work in progress that the landlord Jimmy is getting together as he goes along. Mandi and meself had a couple of nights here recently and will certainly go back. The place is well situated just off the A1, 20 miles north of Newcastle, if you are on your way to Scotland, or are touring the north of England, and has plenty of stunning coast and countryside right on its doorstep.
The accomodation is "bunkhouse style", the prices are very competative and the food is good, and Mordueman is responsible for some of the ale on sale, and thats cracking gear as well. Theres also plenty of room for your bike to be parked offroad round the back of the pub during your stay. Jimmy the landlord is a lifelong biker, one time drag racer (knows a thing or two about seriously fast sportys) and knows his stuff. To say the place is biker friendly is an understatement, but they also cater for everyone at the Stags Head. Jimmy is in the middle of a major refurbishment of the place at the moment, but as long as you accept that and are willing to adapt to the fact that things are'nt quite "five star" as the work gets done, its no problem. Anyway you'll most probably be that made up with the welcome and hospitality you recieve (we were) you'll not notice anyway.

Good find though, I always think the UK is seriously lacking in places like that-he deserves to do well and I hope he does.
