Re: 1981 sidecar ruling

I like it,looks like a factory job.

Just a thought,is the chair tyre directional?
If so it may now be facing the wrong way or have you turned it on the rim?

Re: 1981 sidecar ruling

Nice, very nice.
I've had a few outfits, including a double-adult Busmar on a Sportster (!) but never anything as neat as that.
Cheers, Pete.

Re: 1981 sidecar ruling

spinning the tyre was the easy bit, AXE Customs of Clipstone, Notts did the chopping up & welding then i sorted the alignment, front bracket cant be turned over so has to be spaced out & rear fitting shortened also got rid of sidecar brake. never liked them anyway, just sorry not ready in time for vintage do.

Have you thought about just getting a british chasis and putting the harley side car body on to it. Or will the chasis you got not just flip over to become a legal one.
I've had a side car for my old flathead that started life as right hander with a few modifications it fitted on the left.

just a thought
