Re: Pav 40 Trailers

I can't drive a car ( and to be honest I do see me ever learning )

But I would like to be able to transport a therapy bed about ( I do Reiki and Hopi ear candling so need a therapy bed and sometimes people would rather it done in their homes, so if anyone has any idea of a trailer that could accommodate one please let me know :-)

or is this idea already out there? or a simpler method in design along the same lines as a car hauled trailer tent but more compact

I mean imagine the senario ?you pull up at a rally its pissing down, dark, you have just rode a couple of hundred miles, set off on the journey straight after work, unhitch the trailer ,lift the lid, take out the sleeping bags, pull out self-inflating tent ,drop a couple of pegs in......go to beer tent...after a few beers go back to erected tent ready for a kip job done hehe
There is this one.

Re: Pav 40 Trailers

There are two trailer tents that are legal (i.e. no more than 1 metre wide) to tow behind a motorbike, that I know of.

Not necessarily – the fitments can be fitted to the ends of a custom axle – like the Night Train pictured here. Nothing stays on the bike other than a little stainless stell top hat each side - bit like a crash bobbin.

There's a bloke on ebay selling new replica PAVs in a selection of colours.
Can't post the link because I'm rubbish with computers, sorry!

Re: Pav 40 Trailers

Ah, Mr gadget, I tried looking for those on ebay; no result, whatever I could think of to search for. Go on, give a beginner a clue; title? item number? something? anything?
Cheers,
Pete

Sorry, item number was 260423248831, but advert seems to have been ended for now. He might still have some left, looks like he had quite a few.

I've just bought this one - ebay item 170337922268 - and it's an absolute cracker!

Aha! It was you!
I phoned about that on Saturday and was told someone was going to look at it, then the advert ended. Looks good.
Cheers,
Pete

Re: Pav 40 Trailers

Sorry Pete! The photos don't do it justice.
It's not only beautifully built, but very well thought out too.
(plus it's almost long enough to sleep in!)
