Insurance

I will, sometime in the next year, have my own trike (HD of course).
BUT, in the meantime, I would like to get out and about; my daughter owns a trike which I could ride but neither my car nor my bike insurance cover me to ride a trike (I asked) and her insurance doesn't cover me and I can't be added to hers.

So, has anyone found an insurance which will cover them to ride a specified vehicle which doesn't belong to them (with the owner's permission of course)?

(As an aside, the V5C states that it is not proof of ownership - how the hell does that affect insurances in case of a dispute - you might be the registered keeper but not the owner?)
Cheers,
Pete
