| Front Motor Mount. Ref: M-1182 December 01, 2005:IMPROVED FRONT RUBBER ============================= In the interest of promoting customer satisfaction, Harley-Davidson requests that you return your inventory of the old style front rubber mount ============================== BLAhahahaha, I wonder why? This *new* mount was bought just before that bulletin came out. I think you'll agree that what you are looking at could be the reason for the bulletin in the first place. When I installed it when I re-built my motor just over 1K ago it had a nice gap where gaps should be. A bit more vibey at the start but I put it down to different cams, new motor etc.......... Progressively got worse, looked earlier in the week = no gap. Took it out and the center just pushed out with my fingers LOLOL. Quality, doncha just love it. The old one with over 20K on it is back in for temporarily for now, vibs gone. |
