Re: help needed fast

Just out of interest, what colour is it ?

There's a nice looking FXSTSi for sale here on the club website.
It already has low-bars and stage-1, but no cissy bar.

Dealer has offered to give a years warranty, only thing i dont like are the ape hangers thats been fitted and the colour but mate owns spray shop and drag night train bars can be fitted so it looks like this could be the one. Once again thanks for the help and advice.

Well done rich h,thats a good choice
remember though that the Dealer aint doin ya any favours with the years warranty thing
All new Harleys come with a two year unlimited warranty which is transferrable to any new owner i.e. YOU

Also good that you can speak to the previous owner, that way you can suss what type of treatment he gave it in those first critical running miles.

Heres to a happy summer

Tony its a red pearl colour and i cant find it for sale on the site, only got till Saturday to make mind up on what bike to buy.Wife still likes the brand new ltd edition paint job on the night train, only thing puts me off is that it is in standard form needs stage 1, pipes and seat and sissy, dont know whether patient enough to wait to get the good bits. Softail standard is ready to go as soon as drag bars are fitted.

Ah yes, H-D red. A divisive colour for sure.

That FXSTSi (springer softail) is currently ad number 214.

Hope you both enjoy whatever you decide to purchase.

Hi the softtail sounds good, pleased you have had a test ride as the night train has scarey handling. They do all ride differently 1st and 2nd april is open house at Harley dealers. ride as many as you can so you get the handling and style that suits you it`s expensive to change
Enjoy yourself there are loads to chose

What Nick said: ride as many as you can. The differences look minial on paper, but the character of every one is very different.

Cheers

Re: help needed fast

Well decided on Softail with the stage 1 and extra's after another test ride today, wife likes it as she says it it's a propper bike but then again she never complained about the blackbird which we are keeping as not worth a lot. Collect bike next week and must admit am looking forward to it. Mates having a laugh because we all ride sports bikes but perhaps they are jealous. having drag bars fitted as not used to ape hangers but the real scare is that wife wants all the gear to go with the bike like HD leather jackets etc and it will cost loads, any excuse to buy clothes me thinks.

Hi Rich,

Get the brochure, pick what you want & then order online from U.S. Loads cheaper, even after you've paid VAT & Duty. Parts, clothing all cheaper than here. Good luck & enjoy.
