What is this socket

Hi, I've just taken the right hand side panel off of my 2003 RKC and next to the ECU to the right of it, there is a spare electrical connection. I can't find anything about it in the manual. Does anyone know what it is please.

if it is a four pin connector its likely to be the EFI interface, what they use to update the stage flashes or use a SERT.
