| TC Hydraulic LIfters
Started the bike for the first time in a few months the other day I circlaute the oil round the motor with the plugs out to get the oil light out and then go for it.;) Did the same this year however when it struck up a front cyclinder lifter was tapping away. It took a while to eventually pump up. (a few minutes & revs ) Anybody else had this after a prolonged shutdown ? Took the bike for a spin and all ok but the initial rachet was a bit of a worry

If the engine stopped with a Cam Lobe directly under a lifter roller it will over a period of time bleed the hydraulic tappet down. On first start up it will take several minutes to pump up, especially with cold oil. I would not worry about it.
