problem at 12500 miles ?

MA SPELLING IS BAD SORRY FOR THAT KNOW READ ON ?
FXDX WITH CARB RIDEING AROUND KNOW AND AGAIN HAS PUFF OFF SMOKE
FROM EXAUST THEN AT OTHER TIMES THE BIKE JUST STOPS ON YOU FOR NO
REASON THEN AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES STARTS AND RUNS OK TILL IT DOES IT AGAIN.

might be a fuel blockage my friend ,summit simple , try all the simple things first ,check condition of the plugs, check that all petrol feed pipes aint crimped ,or bent ,if your petrol cap is a vented one make sure the little hole is clear

Check the carb venting as Dan says, make sure the vent pipe that goes down the left front frame tube is not blocked.
