Talking Re: Toe 'n' Heel changers

Nice one PLS...........
It certainly stands out...
Now thats what I call "thinking out side of the box".........
But it appears to do the job by the looks of it.

I think you've got to give the H&T shift a chance. Once you get used to it, it becomes really effortless.

Re: Toe 'n' Heel changers

What dropped through my letter box this morning, a new Toe stubb for the front changer, courtesy of my bestest mates at Warrs! FOC. Unless they plonk something on the bill when i take it back for its MOT - not until March though.
Never let it be said the dealerships are only after your money! D'Oh, what am I saying!

Unhappy Re: Toe 'n' Heel changers

I had an interesting experience earlier this year and the only thing I put it down to is the weight of the heel toe mechanism.
I hit an unmarked ramp and took off through the air,
and upon landing to my surprise I found that the beast had down shifted a couple of gears. resulting in a slight locking up of the rear wheel

I wondered if this had happened to anyone else

Re: Toe 'n' Heel changers

You can also fit the front lever from a Softail Standard or Duece (both the same part) as this has the shorter splined section for just one gear changer, worked a treat on my Fatboy, this also moves the changer in about an inch giving you more room sideways on the footboard as well, cant remember how much the front lever was though ???
