V&H FuelPak settings

I had a look at my fuel pak settings last night. They don't seem to correspond to anything on the V&H website so I've mailed them and am waiting for a response.

One thing I noticed as I was going through the settings is that one of them was not a number it was just one of the LED's lit up like a '

I think this was no 19. Does anyone know if this is normal, or is my FuelPak buggered?

My bike also seems to have started vibrating more than usual. I've checked the engine bolts and all seems ok. Maybe I'm just going mad and it hasn't changed at all.

Cheers,
Rob.

Re: V&H FuelPak settings

Pretty sure that's correct for 19 Rob. Setting 19 is used to calibrate the Fuelpak to the bike. Would be interested to know what settings were in the unit originally?

Ah ok, cheers. Was getting worried there for a minute

I'm obviously suffering from a lack of a manual for the FuelPak, I'll have a dig around on the V&H site and see if they have a download. It's not that I want to change anything but I'd like to know a bit more about the config.

Haven't a clue what the original settings would have been, I had the dealer fit it all Should have done it myself really because now I'll be constantly worrying that they haven't done a good job. Not that I don't trust them completly of course Hopefully things will be clearer when V&H respond. If I get any more info I'll let you know.

Cheers,
Rob.

Oh ho ho ho, no don't, please stop, I'm nearly splitting my sides with laughter

I'll have you know I kept it in first all the way home, just to give you a chance

Though it could just be because I'm really, really slow...

Thanks for that Dan,

It's an '06 FXDBI Street Bob with SEII slip on mufflers and the SE air filter. Standard sort of HD stage 1 from the dealer.

Cheers,
Rob.

Re: V&H FuelPak settings

I have just had a reply from V&H - Blimey, that was quick. They suggest

Quote:
USE THIS MAP.

Mode 1 => 0 Mode 7 => 9 Mode 13 => 0
Mode 2 => 0 Mode 8 => 12 Mode 14 => 0
Mode 3 => 0 Mode 9 => 0 Mode 15 => -5
Mode 4 => 0 Mode 10 => 0 Mode 16 => -2
Mode 5 => 8 Mode 11 => 0 Mode 17 => 0
Mode 6 => 13 Mode 12 => 4 Mode 18 => 0
It will be interesting to compare it with what the manual says. I know it's totally different from the one that is in there at the moment.
