| Re: Lowering the front end on a TC88
Dead right about the ''no free lunch'', Phil. To avoid my substantially shorter rear shocks causing a tyre-fender kiss, I have been riding with them on max pre-load for years. i.e. STIFF AS! And had to totally alter the shape and length of the fender, and re-do mounting holes. So, not ultra comfortable....bit like a hardtail. But low is the way to go! |

| Re: Lowering the front end on a TC88
Put the lowering kit on last night, took about 2 hours start to finish, nothing to difficult all quite straight forward, frame rails are now nice and parallell to the ground which looks a whole lot better! It also handles a whole lot better now with the progressive suspension and the new Venom on the front, you forget how bad those dunlops are until you get rid of them! Ignore the front mudguard, it was a bad idea! (had a spare one lying around) |
