B@llox. I'm about to start biting the disc- the ride out on the Lakes rally took a fair bit out of an already marginal pad. I'll nip over to Halfords on the off chance- ta for the quick response.

Re: What size socket do I need?

If you can't get one pm me your address as I can send you one at cost to me of £5 including p+p. A lot of people seem to have a problem getting these so I bought a few from a local shop that was closing down.

Re: What size socket do I need?

Yeah Baz you was right
Well I thought I could get it sorted in time for the N Wales meet tomorrow
looks like I'm in the car,
but with this weather it's good to have a bona fide excuse

Thanks for all your replies, I'll PM LV now and take him up on his kind offer of a loan. Tony, if I had more dough I'd take you up on your offer, but as it is this is the first time in 20k that I've needed one of the little blighters and the missus wants a week in the sun and a fiver added to all the crap I'm selling on ebay goes a long way-
any one want a smoothie maker!!!

Bizarrely I've got three of them...all from Halfords. Two in their "professional" socket sets and another one sold loose. Mind you it was about 3 years ago when I bought them.
