rineharts

I will be putting rinehart flush on my 07 lowrider. I was wondering if anyone are running these pipes. The tech said I will gain 10-12% across the board and they sound great. Before I do get these put on I would like to hear some pros and cons.

Re: rineharts

I put Rinehart tru dual header pipes on my Road King, I made adaptors to fit run of the mill silencers. I played around with fuel maps and now I'm very pleased with it. It's lively and sounds great. It has cured a heat problem I had on my right leg too.

Re: rineharts

Was the tech selling the pipes?

10% increase in power at all rev ranges is a lot to ask of a set of cans.

I've heard Rineharts are good at higher rev ranges and with performance tuned engines.

Look and sound good though - well, to my eyes & ears anyway!

Re: rineharts

That kind of power gain over STOCK is very do-able. Rineharts are a very good product. The 2-1 would give a better gain.
However its all about engine management. You won`t gain anything without proper tuning.

Re: rineharts

I must say that my bike feels more than 10% more powerfull than stock.

In a head to head test with the wifes standard 07 street bob the Streetglide just sails off into the distance at any throttle openings.

A 2-1 Rinehart exhaust, Screaming Eagle high flow airfilter & a Power Commander 111, & a set off eliminators from

Big Joe Choppers- Intake Solenoid and Exhaust Actuator Eliminators

Fitted everything myself.
I downloaded a map for the bike from the Power Commander site & loaded it into the PC111.

It sounds great & pulls like a train now.
