Kitech PowerPro, anyone tried?

Hi All

Fitted a set or Remus slip ones to me 2007 FXSTC, looks great and sounds great but due to the popping on the over-run it looks like I need to attend to the fueling. I've been looking at the Kitech PowerPro, looks good for lots of reasons, especially the price.....

Has anyone had any experience of these units, either good or bad. Any info would be most appreciated

Re: Kitech PowerPro, anyone tried?

I had the previous generation unit from Techlusion (who make it for Kitech) and it worked very well - easy to set up and tweak, good performance and improved fuel economy). The only disadvantage is that if something goes wrong with it you have to raise the tank to get it off (as well as to to put it on). That said I had it for 5 years and rode in all weathers and nothing ever did go wrong with it.

Cheers

Mike

Re: Kitech PowerPro, anyone tried?

I have recently had a Kitech fitted to my Glide + SE pipes. Flappy valve thing unchanged. Has made a huge difference to the bike. It went well before and is now even better, happy to take 6th gear at 40mph would you beleive. This is my first Harley that I have not had stage 1 from new and so it is nice to be able to experience the before and after.

We've fitted loads of them now. No problems at all.

Re: Kitech PowerPro, anyone tried?

no way will my 2007fxstc pull from 40 in sixth seems very reluctant under 55 so most of the time on b roads never get out of fifth and it affects mph quite a lot, 160ish on b roads to 200 on motorways, regarding the temp about 200 with stage 1 and synthetic.
