would it be crazy to suggest buying two £20 swap meet sofail fenders, and having them expertly cut-and-shut.... then painted. After all the taildragger is just that, a much longer ass end on an otherwise stock fender, right? Save yourself ££££££...... |

Take a few inches out of it lengthwise & have it welded up.

Most of the catalogs have fender blanks, you can buy full rounds 3/4 or 1/2 sections etc, It wouldn't be that hard to cut the radius you need and fabricate a tail and have it welded on.- + couple of fixing tabs etc. At least you'd get the look & fit you want,- something you'll never get out of the box.
