| Re: mounting new dash
is this the dash kit that is a reproduction of the mid 60's hd setup? this set up works fine on an earlier model as I had it fitted to my pan before I changed it to a 2 light dash dash cover fits to the plate via a chrome bolt that screws into a hexangonal stud that bolts to the mounting plate does the mounting plate actually fit a twin cam???? |

I have fitted a stretched tank , It is the replica of the 60,s dash .I noted that there is a central bolt is that the only fixing there is .I have 4 u shaped brackets , joining brackets, plastic brackets and rivets .. or do i just chuck them bits IS the central bolt enough to hold it down thanks . central bolt is all that secures the cover sometimes you need to pad things out with washers to get everything to fit together right as one size fits all from taiwan doesn't alwasy work with the multitude of different tanks / frames and mismatched parts that accumulate over teh years |
