S and S air cleaner?

I'd likde to fit an SS Super on my 03 Heritage FLSTCi.
At present its got the moco standard air filter on it.

Does anyone know if fitting this is straightforward or problematical. I've been told its a no-no and wont fit, but the 07 Custom Chrome catalogue says it will

Any advice appreciated.

Re: S and S air cleaner?

Veggie,
I had an S&S fitted to my 99 FXDWG which has the standard carb on it. Took the shop about 30 mins to do the job, but took about 5 months for the thing to arrive from S&S!! First one they sent has Sportster fittings and it took an age to get the right one.
I'm no mechanic, but as I undestand it as long as you get the right kit it's a breeze.
